The people of First United Methodist Church, Fort Scott are committed to serving God and our neighbors in the Fort Scott community and beyond!

We mix a relaxed atmosphere with inspiring, traditional worship at 10:30am.

Each week, Pastor Christopher Eshelman shares sermons based on

Scripture and our daily lives.

Worship Service: Sundays at 10:30am

Sunday School 9:30am in the education wing.

Each week, we have 3 adult classes as well as a nursery,

preschool group and Sunday Morning Explore! for kids

and First UMC Youth for teens.

We continue to monitor the covid situation but at this time have relaxed our recommendations. We have masks available for any who want one.

The mission of First UMC Fort Scott is:

of Jesus Christ and to exemplify the love of God by
knowing Christ, growing in Christ, serving Christ and sharing Christ”
